We live in California!

Well-sort of! Right now our family is split between two cities in CA and most of us are camping out at Grandma and Grandpa's house and we still have one house in Ohio and one in Utah-anyone want to move? Mike and I always try to do things the hard way. But the good news is that the weather is great, we are all seeing each other every weekend or so and we get to hang out with my parents who in spite of our very energetic children, still seem to enjoy our company.

I've said it before and it has to be said again, I hate moving. I am constantly reminding my children not to use the "h-word" but it is just so fitting in this case. we're trying to talk my parents into moving to the San Diego area so that we'll never have to move again.

I am happy to be here and even though we are still not (and probably won't be for awhile) completely settled. I have rekindled a few of my cherished old friendships and spent some quality time with my parents who we have missed terribly being so far away. I love to walk around or drive around and think "we live here!"

You are making me soooo homesick! This sounds like you are having such a fun summer. Except for the moving part, oh and the house not selling part, everything else sounds like heaven!!! Enjoy it! You're so lucky to have "a home to come home to"!! love ya!

I'm glad you made the move and still sound happy! I'm sure it's a great treat to be so close to your family again, especially now that you have kids. Congrats!

I am convinced that hell is like a perpetual move -- that's how bad moving is! I am so glad you are there and with your parents. Nothing better than being near grandparents. I hope all the other details can get wrapped up soon.

San Diego is gorgeous. I hope you love it.

I remember that feeling of moving to a new city and driving down a road for the first time, thinking..I will do this a million times...I live here now. It's a weird feeling.

Followed you from Jill's blog...just wondering where in SD you are? I grew up there and live in the LA area now. SD is the greatest place to grow up! I'm excited for you and your fam!

Moving can be really hard. We moved 1 1/2 years ago. Hang in there - it gets easier. Enjoy all that California has to offer.
