Last week we went to the zoo with friends on a day that turned out to be really drizzly and wet but we had such a great time. The zoo was pretty empty so we spent all the time we wanted at our favorite spots. This photo is of one of our favorite things to do-feed nectar to the rainforest birds. Landry used to be afraid of this so it is fun to watch him eager to do it this season. He is growing up so fast.

What a cool thing to get to do. Birds are usually so skiddish that it's extra exciting when you get to be so close to them. That bird on the post looks like it was posing just for you. It's also great that Landry overcame his fear and took advantage of that fun opportunity.
Landry actually took the bird photo! He really did have such a great time. Transformed kid!
